The main reason for the leakage is that the seal is not in place, which makes the coolant seep into the bearing of the water pump, thus flushing the lubricating oil on the bearing, resulting in bearing damage. This leakage belongs to internal leakage. External leakage is also the main cause of water pump damage, including aging of engine seals and gaskets caused by long-term use, internal leakage of heater, oil cooler leakage, etc.

4. The water pump cracked, and there were many cracks on the water pump bracket and bearing, which were mainly caused by too frequent vibration and excessive vibration amplitude. For example, if some parts in the pump are bent, it will cause vibration. If the vibration is too violent and frequent, it will cause a lot of cracks in the water pump and bearing bracket.
